10 km north of town towards Selcuk and only 5 km (3 miles) from the ancient city of Ephesus lays the 5 km (3 miles) long Pamucak Beach. The sandy beach is approximately 80 meters (240 ft) wide. Through the middle of the beach the river Kuku Menderes meets with the sea.
This beach offers neither sun umbrellas nor deck chairs. However, you can enjoy horse back riding or camel riding on the beach.
Although the beach is visited by lots of local vacationers on Sundays and national holidays, because of its size the beach does not seem crowded.

With its varied activities including water-skiing, parasailing, surfing, Kustur Beach is located on the 6th km of Selcuk road, and can be reached by Sehirici minibuses from the city centre.

Situated just near Kustur Beach, Tusan Beach offers unlimited fun with the various choices of beach & water activities. The beach is located on the 7th km of Selcuk road and can be reached by Sehirici minibuses.

Towards the north part of Kusadasi, Yesilhamam is actually a small rocky bay rather than a beach. Although you can go there by foot by climbing down a steep reef, the best way is to get there by boat. It's a secluded area where you get no sun umbrellas nor deck chairs but nature on the rocks.

Sun Set Beach Club which is the next bay from Yesilhamam, is a private facility where you have to pay a certain fee to use the premises.

The club offers deck chairs, sun umbrellas, café and a restaurant. The area has no sand but there is a concrete-stone mixture platform on the rocks. You can either choose to dive or use the steps to go into the deep water.

Snake Island bay is a rocky beach area very near the centre of town. Snake Island is actually a small peninsula left of Pigeon Island. This beach is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The beach offers deck chairs, sun umbrellas, cafés and a restaurant. The peninsula provides two beaches one facing southwest and the other north. You can choose between the two depending on the direction of wind blowing.

Kadinlar Denizi (Ladies Beach) minibuses depart from the city Centre every 5 minutes. In summer, Ladies Beach area, one of the most preferred areas in Kusadasi, due to its powdery sands, can be very crowded. Ladies Beach is located 2 kms south of Kusadasi and is 1km long. Houses in this region are usually duplexes with small gardens. There are also many complexes around Ladies Beach. It is a 5-minute dolmus (minibus) ride and a 15-minute walk to downtown Kusadasi. The shops are open between May 1 and November 1 although some market shops are open 12 months a year.

Pigeon Island, with its gleaming image, really deserves to be symbol of Kusadasi. The eye-catching view of the island, uniting with the panoramic colours of sunset attracts all. As the island was much-frequented place of birds during the seasonal migrations, it was named as Bird Island.
In the times of Ottomans, the name of the island was given to the town and the town started to be called "Kusadasi" (Bird Island). Since then, the name of the island was changed into "Pigeon Island". The island was used for military purposes during the Ottoman Era and before, as the location of the island was strategic for securing the shores or preventing the attacks from the sea. The Byzantine castle standing on the rocks, used against pirates, is known as "Pirate Castle". Pigeon Island is in the city, close to harbour, so, walking there by the seaside may be enjoyable. As it is on the way to "Ladies Beach", Ladies Beach minibuses can reach it from the Centre, which run every 5 minutes.
Pigeon Island, unlike its name, is now connected to the land by a mole. But, it is also a wonderful place to relax. Within the borders of the impressive castle, you may watch the charming yachts sailing peacefully on the glassy waters of Kusadasi or sit in one of the restaurants by the shore and sample fresh seafood or other Aegean specialties with the panoramic view of Kusadasi.

The long sandy beach and crystal-clear water of Long Beach are ideal for swimming, water sports and peaceful resting. The beach is 6km south of Kusadasi, -between Batihan Hotel and Nazilli Site, and can be reached by Sahil Siteleri minibuses in every 5 minutes.

The golden sandy beach of Gold Beach is ideal spot for a holiday, located between Emekli Sandigi camp and Emektur Area.

Excellent clear waters of Silver Beach wait to be explored. The beach is located around Ozlem Site and SSK Site

Situated between Aykustur and Sokeliler site, Paradise Beach offers a perfect environment.

Located near Genclik Camp, the Love Beach provides visitors with a perfect opportunity to make water activities and swim in relaxing conditions.

The quiet beaches in pretty Guzelcamli offer a restful peace. National Park minibuses pass through the beaches in every 30 minutes.

NATIONAL PARK BEACHES: The beaches are located 30km southwest of Kusadasi. Icmeler, Aydinlik, Kavakli and Karasu bays are the principals of the numerous secluded bays and coves in the park. Clear waters of the bays provide an opportunity to dive. Only Icmeler bay has the sandy beach. You will feel the real quietness while resting peacefully in the shades of the pines. National Park minibuses departures in every 30 minutes from Kusadasi.

The ideal place to escape from town fuss and noise is a well-merited rest and beach afternoon in the national park (since 1960's) of Kalamaki in the "Dilek Peninsula". Located approx. 30 km South of Kusadasi, it is only 1-2 km far from the Greek island Samos.
The Kalamaki beaches count several bays of which the most important ones are Icmeler (1st bay and only sandy one), Kavakli and Karapinar. Winters are mostly rainy and Summers dry. This explains that water sources are the main place where fauna gathers for drinking. The densest specie is the wild pig so do not be bewildered when you see a wild pig family wandering around in the afternoon.
Due to its clean environment, Kalamaki is also ideal for picnics. All necessary facilities have been thought of : water from the mountains, lavatory and picnic tables and benches. And while you walking around, according to the season, look at the various kinds of flowers in almost any colour and do hesitate to taste the wild strawberries.
To reach the National Park, you can take a minibus leaving at regular hours from the bus station (opposite the Friday Market) or join an organized tour. You will soon understand it is worth going!
